I have a B.S. in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Idaho, and 18 years experience marketing professional services and real estate. I began my real estate career in one of Idaho's first Windermere offices in Sun Valley, Idaho marketing high end properties in a competitive environment. I also marketed real estate for 3 years in Twin Falls, Idaho where I was a million dollar producer. It was in Twin Falls that I added my Associate Broker and GRI designations before moving back to Boise, where I have lived for the past 10 years.

Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) - A MUST for Buyers and Sellers
The NAR 2006 Profile of Buyers and Sellers showed the following: 98% of Buyers believe negotiation skills are "Very Important" or "Somewhat Important" in their real estate agent. Yet buyers, in the same profile, gave "Negotiation Skills" the lowest satisfaction rating of all agent skills and qualities. I was not satisfied with that. I received the CNE certification to better serve my clients. This education puts me in the top 1% of all agents nationally. With my professional negotiation skills, I will typically obtain better results for my clients. As a CNE I have a powerful competitive edge because of my ability to uncover information effectively, get more and give less during sales/purchase negotiations, and retain control over desired outcomes. Bottom line, as a CNE I know how to influence and persuade others more effectively than agents without professional negotiation training.
